Persons who are supposed to be responsible are making statements which are very unfortunate or downright misleading by saying that prostition or females in Grenada are lowering their morals due to the existing economic situation suggesting the govt is responsible for the state of affairs.
It was only a few days a senior member of the Grenada professional Association of Social Workers ( a person in the know) stated that ther is no evidence of increase in prostitution in grenada based on the 2007 statistics but rather it has become more evident.
However even that statement has to be carefully scrutinized; not every female that wears skimpy or provocating clothing is a prostitute, taking into consideration todays fashion that the so called icon Rihana Minaj Britney, Lady Gaga etc, mixed with the effect of the IT explosion. In addition the search for identity by teenagers as a resuly of the absentee fathers and working mothers too busy to dedicate enough time to the family. Not ot mention the fierce competition for the few good available men young or old who have become victim of drug abuse, HMP, or homosexuality. Put all that in the mix plus a lot more and then persons will make more responsible statement and stop politicking.

I basically laugh at how "prostitution" gets people and especially us hypocritical Grenadians riled up.

The fact is that sexuality have been used for gain for centuries..every country, village and and town..in high places and low places.

The women on the street who prostitutes her self for money is no different from the people who parade TV and the media selling products through sex or from those who use their sexuality to gain higher positions.

We applaud the Ms world or miss universe as clean but abhor at our ladies of the night tryi ng to amke an honest living without stealing or intentionally killing.

Guys there is morally no facting moral difference to much of the madness that goes on in our daily lives.

Jail all the prostitutes but we will fk our neighbors wife or husband if she gives us the chance. Kill two on the road but then we boast to our friends about that sweet young ting..that giving us some head.

As for all this bull about showing country in bad light, its one of the hypocrisy's that urks me the most.

Guys there is no country good or bad name or puritan values to defend or spoil. Tourists dont come or leave because of that..Well in Grenada's case they because of all that anti gay 18 century backwardness that we have as law.

We dont live better or worse because of any of that shyte people. If you dont want a prostitute then dont pick them up...and also give up the young girl all ah allyu have on the side..because she need a likkle help out now an then.

Back to this bullcrap about running down country.

People can say how they feel about anything in their country and still love it. every politician when in opposition have no problem saying bad things but when in government call other traitors ect. Its so vain and hypocritical.

Ask them they all will talk about freedoms and freedom of speech ect..but when put to the test they call journalists traitors who dont like them..they blow up at journalists who dont ask the right wuestions.

NNP have all right to say what they want..stupid as it maybe, same as the NDC did when in opposition. The NNP has all right to show why they believe Grenada is on the wrong path and its the right of those who believe in the NDC to defend and put out their facts.

What gets me is the bullcrap about trying to make someone else's criticism morally untenable or somehow off limits.

Look when Fat-Cat came with his shyte this week..a NDC NY group poster put up a very organized and post replying to his shyte. Fat-Cat was seeing running for safe high ground. as i repsponded.."cat got your tongue" fat (Expletive Deleted)..LOL

That is what political freedom and rights are about.

By the way I believe prostitutes have rights too and for those who believe in that sort of thing, they may go to heaven before the heathens who criticize them. In fact most of these "heathens" wish they could get some behind closed doors. You could see them literally licking their lips..i guess thats their tool of preference. LOL

If its illegal to sell (Expletive Deleted) on the streets then prosecute it but please spare me all the moral hypocrisy. The very people who criticize this and that will pay for sex in a wink..and many do in so many different ways.

Ah humans..I am looking forward to the day when hypocrisy will be a crime..punishable by substantial jail. ROFL.

Only then we will have a truly Free society.
