Does anyone read chant a psalm a day? If so

Let us know. I realise ALtboy is on a lonely vigil, but I am curious if he has some secret admirers.

Re: Does anyone read chant a psalm a day? If so

For my part , there is nothing to be secret about. Altar Boy thinks he is doing his part . Liking rote ....  but is that what God is about ?

But I have been reading stuff on this power heathen Roy Moore from Alabama ... a whole different ball game. And asking - is this ... or he and his friends for real .... gladly others seem to be doing the same thing.

Here are some headlines.

* *  Christians : Our silence on Roy Moore  isn't enough
**  Roy Moore and the sorry state of Evangelical politics
* * The unbearable hypocrisy of Roy Moore's christian pals
*  *  Roy Moore's Christianity is built on fear.

all is not lost.

I have occasionally read Altar Boy's postings.

Is it possible that Altar Boy has an alter ego that posts here? "An alter ego (Latin, "the other I") is a second self, which is believed to be distinct from a person's normal or original personality." Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alter_ego

I am confident Altboy will be reinvigorated. Maybe you will get two doses of dogma a day from now on.

I  do, you see Expat, they are my friends.  Here is the other thing, they were instrumental in getting the shop back together.  They even paid monies to the ole shop, to try and get the ole shop back and running.  They are one of the greatest supporters of the shop.

Expatexpatexpat! Look at what you've put yourself into!

As I was expecting an indirect response from Altar Boy, I exceptionally went to read.

And lo and behold!

Thou shalt fear God.

Or!

Or ... thy dangle shalt shrivel and dry and fall off
And thy voice shalt become irritatingly high-pitched
Thou shalt have a miserable life from now on.
Eternally!

Don't worry Altar Boy, if you ever read me: God is Love. It does not just sound nice. It's a fact.
There are consequences to what we do, but the one we call God can only love.
Those who wrote that stuff about fearing god were surely not God Him/Her/Itself, but opportunistic self-serving ones who exploited humanity in its immature state. We are maturing and there is a time on its way when Truth will be shouting too loud to be ingored any further, and those who distorted so badly what is sacred, not just religion-wise but in all domains, will be recognised as such.
And: we do not need threats to live by the Highest, by our own inclination and choice.

Peace
