CUBA WILL NOT RETURN ASSATA SHAKUR DESPITE TRUMP'S DEMAND!!

https://revolt.tv/stories/2017/06/18/cu … 0600303c69

I first met and spoke with Assata  over 26 years ago as a young Brigadista.  I am totally anti- Communist but I wanted to see what it was like living under that regime. Assata had come to visit the Brigadistas  at the Antonio Mella Campo on their 25th anniversary.  She was a small and attractive unassuming figure-- someone whom you would think could not kill a cop. She has continued to make Cuba her home after escaping from prison and fleeing there. The FBI was cracking down on members of the Black panther ( I wish the [f word] they would have cracked down on the KKK and other white radical organizations instead of promoting them to kill "Niggas!"). Now that Castro is dead and Trump is our President, he wants her head on a silver platter. Cuba will not turn her over for trial and that is positive.

Now .... have you read

Katherine Paterson
'Brigadista Year'                            ......  ( story of this  13 year old girl )

Went to Winnie's funeral yesterday ? Saluted  Winnie with wine . Rum would have been   better. lol.

Brigadistas were officially members of an adult literacy campaign in Cuba, but I remember it as being something entirely different - and more sinister. Young PNP activists from Jamaica were sent to Cuba and received training in political indoctrination, arms handling and military tactics. One ex-Brigadista I knew, whose name shall be nameless, was a serious PNP enforcer, and he even killed a very good friend of mine. Who shall also be nameless.

..............
I can now see where the name 'historian' came from.
Good read, I wonder if that slice of Jamaican history is explored  in today's UWI . Must ask someone.
