It is Chiquita the most bananas I see - don't know their specific type, but I call them the "tastes-all-the-same" banana.

I think those are Lacatan bananas.

Lord ah doh even know the answer, every time ah speak to that guy, he adds ah few more.  There is one call Bluggo-plaintain nd also ah cross between the regular bananas and plantain.  Ah just doh know.

The Lacatan is sweeter than the Cavendish. So probably not one you would call tastes the same. the Cavendish is probably the tastes all the same.  It is by far the largest consumed banana in the States.
