Weather on the move

Glimpsed my World climate app, and woyyyyy

One disturbance number 9 WNW, and Helene heading West although both items are moving extremely slowly. I am still on probation, so I can't determine whether slow is good, or bad..... because it has more time to suck up thermals?

Sheite, Isaac is likely to be in our area Wednesday/Thursday!!!

Helene at least looks to be heading North to Mid Atlantic.

Re: Weather on the move

Seems like Isaac is holding its line towards St Lucia, but thankfully is looking to downgrade to a Storm by the time it reaches The Caribbean.

Rota and Guam are going to be hammered in the next 24 hours.  Rota is going to be a bullseye.  That sucks.

Yeah, saw that when I went on a tour of the World with the G.C., but I am not sure of any agency like Noaa in that part of the World to see who is going to get hit by what.

Thank you. TNN only talks about Trump and his rubbish maybe BBC World will mention it, but it is probably not high on their list of places Europeans or Americans would be interested in, will you be getting updates of how they fared?

Re: Weather on the move

I have friends on Guam but don't know anyone on Rota. It is a bit of a backwater.  On a clear day you can see it from Guam.

During World War II they just skipped it and let the Japanese soldiers there sit and wait out the rest of the war.  When planes had to return to Guam without dumping their bombs, they would eject them on Rota just for harassment.

Below is a photo I took of Rota from the north end of Guam.

Here is a link on the typhoon. It sounds like Guam faired well but no news from Rota.
