It's not (just) about hurricanes, this is climate change in action

http://www.guardian.co.tt/news/120000-p … 64dd2c77e1

These "extreme weather events"  don't even get named, let alone recorded, but they are becoming WAY more prevalent. Every year, several times a year, various Caribbean countries will get lick with these "non-hurricane devastation".

Given that they are not recorded as named storms or depressions, there's no use arguing with people like RD that what I'm saying is a fact.

Not much point other than the fun of it surely.

Remember the Dust Bowl of the 1930s?  How about the Year Without A Summer of 1816?  They had festivals on the ice on the Thames.   How about the Blizzards of 1888? Snowfalls of 20 to 50 inches were common.  How about the Great Tri-State Tornado of 1925?  How about the fact that, at a time when Native Americans were in the Americas, virtually the entire nation of Canada most of the Northern US states were under a continental glacier and, for some reason, it melted?  Just up and melted!  Why, its almost like the weather has never been stable.

My favorite part about weather alarmists however is the way you get all serious, ball up your fists and say things indicating that you are so delusional that you think you can change the global climate.  Talk about your magical, mystical thinking!

To lead off with the great dust bowl which was created by dumb farming practices wasn't the smarted part of your argument mate.

The hottest decade of the 20th century was caused by farming?  Please.

Maybe not, but the dust bowl as per first hit on Google

:-The Dust Bowl is also often referred to as the Dirty Thirties. Some of the reasons that the Dust Bowl occurred were over-farming, livestock over-grazing, drought and poor farming practices. There were more than 100 million acres of land affected by the Dust Bowl. There were 14 dust storms in 1932 on the Great Plains.

Yes, I know but the years long drought and the heat wave weren't caused by farming.  Poor farming practices, however, destroyed the land and caused much erosion.   So yes, the "dust" was caused by poor farming practices.  The drought and heat wave were not.

Second major flood event within a week:

And these "little events" don't even get a mention, a name, therefore they "don't exist".
