This is how they launch boats on the south east shore of Lake Huron. Those old Farmall tractors are popular with the high engine block. The locals tow their boat to the lake and are able to back into the shallow water to a launching depth with no problem.
Have seen pickup trucks try it. The end result is a stalled truck with wet floors and a day of boating off to a bad start.
