Why do they bother with these nomination hearing charades?

It's just political theatre of the absurd and useless, which always boils down to senate votes. When was the last time a presidential nomination, for anything, was knocked back, by a rare bipartisan show of solidarity against a clearly egregiously unfit candidate? Bork?

American politics is all about the ILLUSION of "people power", when the truth is exactly the opposite. To do a Trump: shame!

People power scares you? But isn't that your Holy Grail: true democracy?

I also think once you were or is a senator, you will be confirmed.

I am not sure if it is Political drama, or what the hell it is.  Now you understand why the American people have lost trust and faith in their Political system.  The exact reason Trump is the president.

The party that recognize that there is change in the air, will rule for awhile.

Pelosi, Schumer, Mitch and all them ole ASS Politicians is time they take ah back seat.

Seriously I have lost faith in the Democratic party.  sadly the Republicans are worst.

Hell no!  True democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what's for supper.

I am still in love with democracy, but these old fools, maybe spend too much damn time in DC.  Both parties need some fresh thinking.  They no longer care about the people, but rather them selves.  They are so outa touch it ent  funny no more.

I think Term limit is the true answer.

Ins't it ridiculous that the POTUS has term limits but Senate and Congress don't? These guys become fossilized, sitting in place!

They start raising money from the first day, they were elected, even if their next election is not six years away.
