Re: SGU Students sent Home

There are no confirmed cases in Grenada, so why are they leaving?

Cos the Uni told em to piss off.

Supposedly for their own safety and peace of mind back in Covid19 polluted USA and Kanada.

My dodgy mind thinks..... iff you are off OUR premises we have no responsibility for you....

Not dodgy at all, it's the insurance companies. If one of those precious students were to cop his lot (that's die for the rest of you!) in yukky third world Grenada, SGU would get sued for millions. It's the insurance companies that call the shots in these situations, '
cos it's them's on the financial hook. Insane if you ask me: leaving corona-free Grenada for Amerikee, where it's just beginning to kick up, with a response team headed by an idiot and an institutional system totally unable to cope with an Italian-style pandemic. And when they go home to mommy, and 4 weeks later come back - then what?

Oh, they ain't coming back.... said in a sinister tone.....

Not until every geriatric (person over the age of 65) and health enfeebled patient has slipped off the mortal coil.

Then when we (I may not be there) have attained heard immunity, then we may return to the status quo. As at that point even though the disease will reinfect, and reoccur, the survivors will not be prone to death.

Grenada is fortunate that it is a young nation. It wont take too long for the old and vulnerable to slip into obscurity.

Re: SGU Students sent Home

Great Uncle Bulgaria is coming out of retirement especially to keep the doddery old fools in check.

It's bad enough they all come out at 9am to cavort on the buses, shopping trolley's blocking the gangway.... .

They are just a drain on society, it's time for a good old fashioned virus to keep them in their place.

Next they will be saying they paid into the system all their lives and they are entitled.Flippin cradle to the grave mentality.
