The Lifeblood

While the world goes into isolation
Ships continue to feed the nation
Everything on earth, that’s grown or made
Is brought to us, through the ocean’s trade
All that you buy, in store or online
Has been on a ship, at least for a time
When will we learn, to respect the sea?
For she is the lifeblood, for you and for me

Hope those juggernauts of the sea plying their trade are not washing out their bilges in the sea like their cruise ship counterparts.

I guess they run on the heavy oil too?
