Our victory of the '70s to mid '80s cannot be recaptured. The quality and discipline is not the same. India is a shinning star!

NH, you hit it on the head with "This match had everything, brilliant bowling, disciplined batting, and no more calypso foolishness; they put their heads down, disciplined themselves and gutted out the win!"

It was refreshing to see our guys perform so well under those conditions through to the 5th and final day despite Lara stating that "I don't think they can last five days, so they have to take these games in four days. They have to establish a lead and keep it."

Onward Windies to a victorious series!

Onward Windies to a victorious series!

They have not been able to do so. Clive Lloyd established a pattern-- use the best players from all the islands. That is how Guyana will win in the deal. They should use the best business minds from all the islands.WE, ALL THE PEOPLE IN CARICOM, SHOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS FIND-- NOT GUYANA ALONE!!

Calypso, you have my vote on both matters. Pooling resources within the Caricom family is a formula for success both for West Indies cricket and for Guyana with its oil.

Ha-ha-ha-haaa!! Hilarious, why the hell should Guyana share their windfall with the rest of us, what Caricom EVER did for Guyana? For decades Guyana was the ugly (poor) duckling of the Caribbean, and now they find oil you say they should share it. Dream on.

Because that is how the regions works--for the benefit of each other. i am surprised that a man of your background should have such shallow thinking.!!
