Five foot drift outside my wife's plant room

Pretty cool, figuratively and literally.

Been there, got the (thermal) t-shirt! It's beautiful and all, but it's a bit like an opera: can quickly get tired of it lol!!

True, RD you could grow some real "exotics" in that hothouse of yours! I know a guy, who knows a guy...

New Historian, I tell her all the time that she buys a lot of stuff online for her plant-room that will probably result in us getting a knock on the door someday. big_smile

All those plants kept toasty by geothermal heat.

Here is what it looks from the outside.  The windows to the right are the plant room.  The doors are to my underground shop.  I don't use those doors in the winter.  To the left of the doors is a five foot retaining wall completely drifted over.  We are getting more snow tomorrow.  I think it is fun.

"House Plants" are nice.

Mrs used to say... THAT is a weed... We chop that down, it is everywhere... etc.

Now I am the one chopping many of those EXPENSIVE house plants down, and whacking them with the weed eater. Cussing them for being in all the wrong places.

The other side of that story is trying to get plants that grow in temperate climates to grow here.. What is life without challenges.
