Yes, that's 2 Hockey Hall of Fame players gone within a week of each other.
Lafleur (The Flower) of the Canadiens dynasty during the 70's.
Mike Bossy, the scoring machine of the New York Islanders dynasty during the early 80's.
Strange that for being hockey players, lung cancer got them both. Apparently they were each heavy smokers.
I was a huge fan of Bossy during that Islanders run. Would have never guessed that he was a heavy smoker.
Lafleur was known to light one up in the dressing room between periods. I think he might have even smoked on the bench during games.

Dancer, they are late games from the west but if you ever get a chance to see Connor McDavid play, is worth watching. That guy can skate!
Have never seen anyone travel so fast with the puck before.
Amazing how the game has changed so much over the past 10 years.
Big and slow have been replaced by small and fast.
Not long ago a kid under 6' 210 lbs. would rarely make the NHL.
Now the league super stars are like 5' 8", 180 lbs. and lighting fast.

Oh, and hang onto to your seat.

I honestly think its amazing, how we Caribbean folks embrace foreign sports and make it our own. We grew up on soccer and cricket, maybe Netball.
For me its American Football and Baseball. I am ah true Cricket fan, will never ever forsake Cricket, but love me NFL, the Redskins (Commanders) got my attention whenever they are playing.

Dancer, one game does not determine a best of seven.
The champions of the past 2 years are not about to go down easily.
Golf season is in full swing. If the Leafs are not on the putting green in 2 weeks, I may then be convinced that they have a chance of hoisting the Stanley Cup
