All good reasons but Reason #1 should be adequate to end it.

Interesting read. I thought that the CBI program in Grenada was shelved years ago.
Is that a common practice in many nations around the globe?

Re: Grenada's shameful passport-selling fiasco

We have always seen our islands as being less- as cripples who need a helping hand. There's hardly little or no background check when a foreigner comes running to us, and this is the reason why we sell our passports to criminals and perverts. Years ago, a friend of the family had gone to the doctor in Jamaica. She had an exquisite figure and a lovely face. The doctor, a sleazy white man-- an American, showed her an album of pornographic pictures and asked her to pose for him. She declined. Hours later, she woke up
on a bench--obviously drugged by him with her panties down. We all can make an inference as to what the sleaze did to her. She didn't report it out of sheer humiliation! Shaky business deals by schemers and other unscrupulous individuals will occur if we do not demand more from the foreigners who flock to our shores bringing dirty gifts.

I suppose it works both ways.
A lot of illegal Caribbean nationals through out the world.
Many return flights go back half empty.
Funny how so many are desperate to get out, while the wealthy pay to get in.

I am fully onboard with this citizen investment program.  Here is what I hate.  The people of Grenada are not benefitting from it.  Only two Grenadians are enjoying the bounty.  Tiefing Keith and Bowen.

How do you know that Mr. Keith Mitchell is a thief? I rather like him!

No Houston, it does not go both ways. They run us out of their countries. We harbor them to our countries because we are poorer.

Oh, okay.
Where does a skilled or educated person go?
You know the answer WSS.
Why are people from China erecting buildings in the Caribbean?

Exactly, the Caribbean is being colonized by the Chinese. It doesn't take armies or gunboats, just "the gift of money". And everything else that comes with that "gift". Selling our passports is a fucking crime, as far as I'm concerned.
