Not Black Enough?

Dallas News wrote:

Rachael Malonson has always struggled with her biracial identity. After being crowned Miss Black University of Texas, social media users attacked her for the way she looks.

Malonson is not letting it ruin her moment, though.

"For me, I've always had to battle 'I'm not black enough.' But to not just place, but win the title is truly rewarding," said Malonson, who's from Magnolia, near Houston.

After winning Miss Black University of Texas 2017 on April 30, Malonson said she felt empowered as a woman. Previously, she felt insecure not knowing where she fit in.

Re: Not Black Enough?

That beauty queen , still seems confused to me .  Looks white to me . lol.

Personally I  have wondered what the big Hulla B'lu  was about  with  Rachel Dolezal (NAACP white/black activist )
Since lots of black people claim to be white.

Peschief.   Big B . lol.

Re: Not Black Enough?

Americans do not accept the concept of being biracial. They should not intermarry because the off-springs of such people (who chose to do it) do not have the best self-esteem. In Jamaica, I used to live among such people and they accept the fact that they are biracial. One drop of black blood cannot make you black. If you have predominantly black blood then you are black! The birth of the nation called America is about pure whiteness!
