The joys of the rainy season

So me and me chum went off to a project we are working on in his pick up. We arrived at the point where we would do a 3 point turn and...... got stuck.  It then took 4 hours using twisting ropes to haul the vehicle around so we could drive out. No work done.

Friday we went back in my vehicle.... not being entirely stupid I did not drive up to the point where he got stuck. But then driving out at the exit point which has a slope the car started to slide sideways uncontrollably. Fortunately I had stripped and repaired the come along that failed to work the previous occasion, so it only took us half an hour to drag the car back onto hard standing.

Got to love wet slidy soil.

Does nothing when the tyres have the grooves filled with mud.

In some of the manoeuvring I had to deliberately use 2wd to stop spinning from the wheel set I wanted to control. Grenadas soil is VERY slippery when wet.
