If there are not changes, the human race will not survive.  Maybe in the next 200 years things will be as they  were 50 years ago, but ah seriously doubt dat.

I once heard the Mighty Sparrow say when asked about the New Soca music, he simple said Kaiso can not survive,  there must be changes.

Evolution is fine.... even if the thing evolved into is sheite, as in much of the modern so called music. Nothing wrong with up beating Kaiso, and calling it Soca. That way you can have the die hards, and the new bloods run side by side, but don't hold onto the name when, as much of modern Soca bears absolutely no context with the older Sugar bum bum variety, have the balls to find a new name and run with it.
