Bee colony collapse

Seems to be spring bee collapse is attributable to Nicotinamides which are sprayed on GMO crops. so 95 plus million acres of corn with less than 1/2% being organic so the GMO  BT crops are going to screw our food chain. This info from Christian Krupky who is an associate professor at Perdue who is an entomologist specialising in soy and corn insect pests.

The Nicotinamides(sp) have only been applied to seeds since the mid 2000s. Kinda spookily when this phenomenon really took hold.

If this hive collapse continues you can kiss your almond crop goodbye for example.

Re: Bee colony collapse

Honey bees are an invasive species not native to the Americas.

Yes sir, bees play a big part in pollinating all sorts of plants.
The decline in their population is worrisome. I miss being stung by the damned things.

And you care why?  They are not African bees who have bad tempers.

Honey Bees, pollinate in a beneficial way, can be utilised by apiarists to travel the country fertilising all kinds of crops. If they are not killed off by non specific insecticides by big pharma.

Correction you are not sure because there is a changing target, but the latest, and frankly most logical reason is endless toxins applied to crops. It aint rocket science.

Re: Bee colony collapse

Somehow the Americas managed to have plant life before Europeans brought their bees over.
