Josephine, from the island of Martinique did well for herself. After all she became the Empress of France when the married Napoleon. I was at Chateau Malmasion last year and I must admit, she had lovely taste in decor. The property is huge, and in her days it was more elaborate. The had over 100 species of Rose and exotic birds flying about. She collected jewelry-- lots of pearls --my favorite.

Well if you insist . Looks a little dated to me , but hey ?
I was looking at some more elegant pieces .
A simple strand
A beautiful pendant.
Or something more intoxicating , like a triple strand necklace.

But since I can't resist........ name and address  please ,  that security can bring them over.

Dancer, they are not cultured pearls. They are natural pearls and that makes a big difference.
