I was thinking of demanding an apology

You wake up with a song  in your heart , most days .
Not today.
Lol.

Misunderstanding of the English language  leads to wars , cussing and fighting  and  sometimes the need to apologize  . I was going to ask for an apology from the JA for her having a horrible temper , thinking bad thoughts , and playing she is (what is the name of the past Woman PM from Dominica.)
But I decided to 'hold my peace' , keep quiet and go for a walk in the rain.

Walking In The Rain

Sitting by the window
Sing songs of love
Wishing you were here
Because the memory not enough

sugar.

Re: I was thinking of demanding an apology

How is it Calypso , I have a job for you  ------ a review.
Your childhood  ( H.D. Carberry ) poem reminded me of this , MY  version of  her   Nature poem , written about 10 years ago.
.... you don't have to be kind /gentle , because if my 'Up the St Lucy way ' needs work, i would not be adverse to attending  any 'one on one' teaching sessions  for a budding poet that you care to have.  .....

Up The St Lucy Way

On a beautiful day
passing the St Lucy parish church.
Going up the long road
One can see
The blue sea in the distance
Dropping off over rows and rows of cut sugar cane fields.

the wind blowing off the sea
Cuss, cuss grass bending in the breeze
Hinting of Autumn
Tasting like wine
On a beautiful day
Up the St Lucy way.

No need to ask why
To see the singing birds fly
floating , on the cool North trade-wind breezes
Calling , calling out,
Come , fly with me , enjoy , enjoy
On a beautiful day
Up the St Lucy way.
