First, we must remember that to Trump supporters he is their cult leader.  I do not think this will turn them away.  Here is another ting, Trump gives plenty monies to these folks.  Ah great of friend of mine, she was ah stripper and is now  ah Christian, is now ah Trump supporter. Not sure if this article, will move them away for Trump.

Remember: Herr Trump's "base" is only, at best, 35% of the population, it's the swing voters that will determine the outcome. And maybe, just maybe, enough of these basically "good" people are becoming increasingly turned off by is increasingly deranged behavior. Fingers crossed but not optimistic

I think that is an over assumption.

The hard core Republicans are as RD stated glued to their party, without any flexibility. The hard line right views of Republicans do not necessarily stretch to Nationalism and Racism.

Although sadly there are too many racists in America whether in the Republican party or simply the fully paid up arsehole party.
