Buying houses in foreign countries is not so easy if you don't know the language and the politics. I love Spain and would like to live there for at least 5 years after retirement just traveling all over Europe and writing. I wouldn't buy anything there. So many people were given shitty deals because they didn't know or do their research on buying abroad.

There's lots of mansions up in Bathway - but they're all empty lol! Looks and sounds nice, but up there is way too remote, takes you ages to get even to the nearest decent shop!! Best parish: Saint David's. Not cos I'm from there lol.
