De house in disarray
Chairs don't have no cushions
Windows blinds less , could see right into  Blanche's  house ,
Tiptoeing over  the   new  varnished  floor
Sitting on the table , furniture polish.

Smoke from a bottle lamp  , sut swirling ,
Steam  the flickering  morning shadows
Hearing  a pig or goat  in the distance .
Xmas Time . This is it
A large galvanized tub , water boiling
Dawn breaking

I mentioned 'sut' from a bottle lamp .  Language ....

sut  =  soot  >>   Soot/sut  is a mass of impure carbon particles resulting from the incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons.
