The application to me and my family might be a bit off, but various Caribbean partners over the years have supplied "West Indian" staples for sundry "English" functions, like the Christmas get together at the gun club, and what I wouldn't even blink at was thought to be a step too far.... Bless em, the older generations don't seem to know more than mincemeat patty's, and sausage rolls.

Stiff upper lip and all that. What.
