Getting good at weather forcasting

I just put on that world weather app that I posted a couple of weeks back, and there in the middle of the Atlantic was a little twist starting, with activity from the upper and lower hemisphere... I said oh, oh, and checked NOAA.  Well it is only showers low pressure, and a tropical wave that is likely to degenerate, but that app certainly gave me a heads up.

I have been looking at that app a lot.  There was a tropical storm that just hit Guam and I watched it pass.  I also have a lot better understanding of the nature of air flow in those type of storms.  Thanks again for the link.

The fastest winds in the world right now are just west of Guam.  There are trees down and power outages on Guam now.

At or around sea level maybe.

Around the South Pole at higher elevations seem to be REAL winds.
