I favour that. Some disagree because we've allowed St. Vincent to come from behind and take Grenadines. But we have the largest and according to some, the loveliest (quite debatable) of the Grenadines. We are, indeed, the Grenada Grenadines. I was told in the old days it was like this, officially, as well as the Grenada Postal Corp maintains a full line of Grenada Grenadines stamps.
I think the Grenadines name could be of economic benefit to Grenada, as the Grenadines are rather popular with tourists and yachties. However, most don't associate these islands with Grenada (which is only promoted as the Spice - singular - Island). Just last month Islands magazine featured Bequia on a list of 10 best islands to live. St. Vincent understands the value of its islands and put them out there, to the benefit of the entire nation. However, unfortunately, to spite us, Grenada hacked its nose off, thus damage a vital source of oxygen (revenue).
This is not about doing us a favour; instead, it is the right and sensible thing to do. And trust me, the day Carriacou presents its case in an organized fashion, it will happen.
