While you heckling people and talking about empty promise, lemme ask you this: what is the deal with the desalination plants? Was the one for PM ever purchased? Is it true that it's still sitting in a container? What was the total cost of all the plant equipment? How long has the 2 in Carriacou been built? Are they in operation yet? If no, then why not?
Also, what's the deal with the mini stadium at Lauriston? How many different hand-over dates did it have? Why couldn't it stay on schedule? What was the proposed budget? How much was actually spent? Do we really need one? I am asking because I was just in discussion with a couple guys who are very active in the Carriacou community (one of whom has attain international recognition) and they both seem to think the same as I do about it.
Whoever advises on projects in Carriacou? You think free books is a headache? Hmmm....
