Am not presuming to know your personal feelings about the revo, ma'am...don't know you...a coupla exchanges in a virtual space just yield that kinda magic.
I was referring to your first statement that's carried through to the most current about bottling and stoppering the whole revo thing...that's what I mean about the repression reference.
See I ASKED you what you do with your feelings/thoughts/etc. about the revo.
I can help Grenadians get their act together?
This seems to suggest an enhanced capacity on my part and a diminished capacity on the part of Grenadians...am I reading this right.
THAT is not my lens on the thing, Miss.
You're dealing with the emotion of the exchange dear...if you put that aside, you will may allow yourself to come to see that the ideas have merit.
Interesting how I get the adjective "pushy"...I rarely see many on these pages referenced as such...even when they're slinging much s--t back and forth...and empty, unprogressive s--t at that too!
You're projecting that I may harbor inclinations that Grenadians are uncultured and ignorant...not so my dear...I've cast my lot in with one who reminds me every day in his being that culture pulsates richly throughout the place and its diaspora.
Plus, these virtual exchanges don't allow you to know me either...if you did, you'd recognize that my lens on the world doesn't allow me to create silly hierarchies like that.
So +++I+++ introduced it on the Talkshop this evening...is this your regular topic stomping ground and I invading your space? There's plenty room for everyone dahlin'...where we all come out...and with the perspectives and resources our generation has been gifted with and building on the precedents set by the foreparents, is big, sound and beautiful shoes we can build you know.
Marine museum is a throwaway...the kind of device I use when my kids get stuck on a rather irrelevant element of the conversation to the point of not moving the structural argument forward. Some of these kids you reference as privileged are adult students with biological children of their own...in my lexicon...my "kids" are my intellectual progeny...and many are not very financially-resourced...but they too deserve experiences like sailing in Carriacou and such.
Some other of my kids are first-gen Americans whose parents holding on to life by their fragile and brittle nails...but they too deserve to see our people proud in the places we come from doing the construction thing.
If you have kids, you know how cruel it is for them that all the experts on everything intellectual here don't look like them. And it's dangerous for the kids who don't look like us too. But that's a whole other thread!
Any undertaking of this sort would require all the usual planning elements...needs assessment, shopping the concept(s) with the stakeholders, etc. etc. etc.
I keep referring to dream-space...can you let go and go there with me?
Unlike what Coast has suggested in this forum, this is MY m-j.
