Too tired to post a clip (will post tomorrow), but the song tackles the issues of parenting, incest and children issues in Grenada.
What is social commentary without politics?
Of course Mr. X is also taking a shot at the NNP and their slogan "let the progress continue." The continuance he states is one where the previous administration continued to ignore child welfare in Grenada. Mr. X makes reference to many incidents including one involving a NNP minister's son who was accused of rape.
Yes. Let them (NNP) continue to ignore the welfare of the children who are the future of our nation.
The song left me wondering whether the current administration will take heed and pay closer attention to the welfare of children in the Spice isle. Time will tell.
