I would maintain too that the Black race and the white race (Afrikan and European) have never at no point in time embraced each other on a basis of love and mutual respect. Rather it was and still is Conquest Enslavement and Exploitation. The Black woman bore the brunt of the oppression, yet still she can cross the cane field and find love in the Great House. That kind of cupidian love is a myth that will always be crushed by reality.
