“””””All the same, some of those same doctors are probably longing for freedom - that which you have and surely must appreciate.”””””

Aim can you please tell me what is the freedom I have and must appreciate? Spell it out, because I find the word "freedom" very ambiguous. For instance, the Cuban people can say, people in the US do not have real freedom; they only have freedom to cuss.

”””””The right to vote must also be something that you take advantage of or at least should while you could”””””

I vote because many of my African people have been killed by democratic governments, while demanding the right to vote. Those governments were democratic when they were giving orders to shoot, tear gass, set horses and dogs on innocent civilians, water hose, beat and arrest people who were carrying out peaceful demonstrations for the right to vote. Now that we have won that battle, I have to exercise that right.

Aim I know you have to say you like the American system, because you can be called a communist if you said it was flawed. What I do not think is democratic about the American system, is the amount of money one has to spend to become president. The most qualified person for that job would not have a chance if he/she had fifty million dollars to spend on campaign.

What chances do workers have for advancement and proper representation when only millionaires in the house and senate are the decision makers for them? No wonder why the rich is getting richer and the poor, poorer. Can we vote to reverse that?

After the whole country has voted, what can they demand when the election is over, or can they remove anyone who was elected? What right or advantage do they have over those who did not vote?

The peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan have voted recently, would you call them free and democratic?

””””””I would like so much like for Fidel to retire or "whatever" so that Cuba could get a chance for change and be able to have as much as basic "freedom of speech". Hopefully, I pray that the Cuban people will live that "dream" soon."""""

Welcome to this planet earth. While you were away, Fidel retired. The Cuban people decided that change to capitalism was not in their best interest, because they had it before and it was real misery as it is under many third world capitalist countries. They have the freedom of speech they need; but even more; they can participate actively in their government without being millionaires; so they are continuing to build their socialist system.

Grenadians have benefited a great deal from the Cuban socialist system; it has brought millions of dollars to Grenada.
