Don, I hear you.

However there is a distinction. Solomon was the king,
who is NOT responsible for bringing the word of God to
the people.

The prophet however, is the man responsible. So you
should be comparing Muhammed with say Samuel, Nathan,
Jeremiah...all who had one or no wives.
