However the principle I raised, is that while you are adding your voice to celebrating women, information surrounding the women in the life of the founder of your faith does not seem to lend itself to your commemoration. Very few women today would commemorate polygamy and the holding of concubines and slaves, there's a conflict, don't you think?
I actually support your effort to clean up certain islamic practices, attempting to distance yourself from Taliban'ism, however you should not take the whitewash approach, you should come out as the catholic church had to and admit failures and how they will be put right.
