I don't understand this system, because it is my understanding that once a child reaches the age of 13 by May he/she is automatically placed in a secondary school whether or not that child scores above the pass mark. And not just placed in the ones that does not perform good, but it is spread across the board.
So every child that attends primary school is given a chance at secondary education. This how i understand the system to be presently.
Now i don't understand how this is going to differ, since we don't have enough secondary schools to accommodate all the Common Entrance participants. And with the incompetency that the Governement have been displaying so far it will vitually be impossible for them to complete at least one secondary school within the next two years.
Besides all of this, the push that the Common Entrance exams gives to the primary schools and the students themselves is a good footing for life. We have to remeber that everybody is different we were not all put here to do the same thing. So lets stop trying to put everybody on the same level.
Anyway as i said before i don't understand how this differs from the present system, so if anybody has any info please share.
