I agree.. a human / human relationship compared to a human / animal (encounter) is apples and oranges in the sense that they are not the same kinds of actions or creatures for that matter... But what you have missed is the fact that i am not not comparing the creatures having the relations, I am comparing the DESIRE...
The desire is the same... So let me put it this way...
A man having the desire to have sex with a woman is probably the same desire a homosexual man has for another man, however that desire is the problem, and that desire is the corruption and perversion... The act of homosexuality is a fulfillment of that desire...
So remember, the DESIRE is the issue, and a man who desires to rape someone he lusts after is a problem, and he should seek help, and it becomes an even more serious problem when the person acts upon that desire... So what you have to come to understand is that humans have all sorts of desires, but some of them may not be right... We are dealing with right and wrong here... In the mind of the rapist, his desires are natural !!! Just as in the mind of the homosexual his desires are natural, just as in the heterosexual his desires are also natural. However, some desires are right while others are clearly errors... The fact that we were created as men and women, one having a penis and the other a vagina, It is implicit that those things were made for each other... Why then would you want to try fitting a square peg in a round hole?? excuse the pun... This is not the way we were created.
Further, the Quran says of homosexual... In relation to its origin in the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah. When Lot said to the people:
Quran 26:162-174
162. "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust.
163. "So fear Allah and obey me.
164. "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds.
165. "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males,
166. "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"
167. They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!"
168. He said: "I do detest your doings."
169. "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!"
170. So We delivered him and his family,- all
171. Except an old woman who lingered behind.
172. But the rest We destroyed utterly.
173. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!
174. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
