Historian, I see you know your aviation stuff. I do have the same questions, and I am on the ground in Carriacou. You have asked very valid questions. In fact, 5000 ft. at the present location of the (future) HA Blaize Airport is near inpossible. de Havilland aircrafts are STOL capable. Executive jets are mostly (if any) not.
