My bro, this has to be well tied, I think, to Carriacou being adequately marketed by GBT. I am aware that gov't (and not from the Carriacou Ministry) is exploring opportunities for our offshore cays. I have also been a witness to a relatively high level exchange wherein certain infrastructural developments are being considered which would be tied to the airport enhancement.
I think by now we well understand that our counterparts from the bigger isle are mostly yet to grasp depth of the potential of the tiny islands as far as tourism is concerned. To begin with, they continue to think in terms of what has been a failed approach to tourism and marketing our country as a whole. I have learnt a few days ago that head of marketing has come to GBT. Being as well accomplished as she is, and especially that she is an outsider, maybe there is some hope because she won't approach us with the usual Grenadian bias.
