Why should a 'promoter' have to fill all the hotel rooms in Grenada for us to get an international cricket match in Grenada? the population of Grenada is circa 100,000. Our population is more than that of St. Kitts, Antigua , Dominica and little less that St. Vincent and St. Lucia. These islands are all getting international matches without the help of a 'promoter'. Should we go to Waggy T, Steve Duncan and Judah to bring International cricket to Grenada? We have been unable to maintain our cricket ground properly and that coupled with an inept cricket administration has contributed to our inability to bid for and host international cricket matches. The cricket administration has changed. Let's hope that would augur well for the future. Also, the us for of the stadium concerts, cultural activities including carnival shows needs to be managed. But then again that's its revenue stream. A lit venue would put us in the running for T20 matches. Right now we are at a disadvantage in bidding for that format of the game.
